Canyon De Chelly in Arizona.
Animals were often pictured as a
prayer to the
Spirits
for a good hunt.
To honor an animal by picturing
it on
the rocks provided the proper
reverence prior to the hunt.
It showed appreciation for a
creature
hat provided food
clothing for the People.
