In Gobernator Canyon, New

Mexico is a pair of large human

figures holding hands-a male &

a pregnant female.

It's possible that these petroglyphs

were associated with fertility rights

& prayers for a  successful

pregnancy. These figures appear

united in their anticipation of the

new child to come.
