First named after a large Douglas spruce tree \

growing from the front of the dwelling

to the top of the mesa, Spruce Tree House, Mesa Verde,

quietly gives testimony to the Ancient Ones

who came before, the Grandfathers who tell the stories

of their time for us to learn from & honor.
