This picturesque ruin contained around fifty five living areas and six kivas. Most of the rooms squeezed onto the narrow upper ledge were for storage, only a few were living rooms. They were entered by ladders from the roofs of multistory rooms in the lower cave. Pottery sherds found here have given archaeologists invaluable information about the people who lived here almost 800 years ago. |
