Wedding Vase

(The following story is included)

Wedding vases

are ancient vessels

used in many traditional

Native American

wedding ceremonies.

One spout of the vase

represents the husband,

the other, the wife.

The looped handle

represents the unity

of marriage.

Though we

drink separately

from the waters of our

individual lives,

we are united

by the vessel

of mutual Love.
